CHIEF OF STAFF

Working Hours/Shift Requirement: 8-5pm or 9-6pm CST


The Chief of Staff will be our CEO’s right hand and a second set of eyes, ears, and hands across the entire organization. You will provide proactive support to the CEO for business tasks, take notes and distill them down into next steps, follow up/through, conduct research, create Power Point decks, project coordination, program coordination, outreach, correspondence, scheduling etc. To perform successfully at this role, you should be well organized and know how to ask great questions to get the task/project complete and on time. The candidate must be highly proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite, and an expert in Power Point and Excel. You must have experience as an executive of Staff supporting C-level executives with exceptional interpersonal skills. 


Primary Job Responsibilities:

Manage CEO’s business life.

Manage CEO’s Brand: social, speaking, video, case studies, ways of working, and written correspondence.

Manage industry relationships: owners, boards, meetings, speaking, blogs, etc.

Daily scheduling CEO’s: appointments, meetings, and other activities.

Observe meetings not being attended by CEO via watching recorded video weekly with distilled clear notes and discuss key points with CEO.

Lead and manage Kaizen events for continuous improvement to take waste out of our system

Transfer CEO’s Institutional Knowledge: into a SOP/Playbook within SharePoint and other tools and apps.

  Coordinate: Agreements, RFP’s and highly complex correspondence

  Research: find the Expert in whatever field we are researching, set up a meeting with that expert, make recommendations.

  Project Management: Systems, tools, and apps for a full proof method to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Create, update, manage Power Point Presentations as needed.


Qualifications:  

4-year degree required; Outstandingly smart a must!

 3+ years’ experience.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Share Point.

  Calendar/Meeting management.

Contract management, editing, correspondence.

Experience in Brand Management/managing a CEO’s social media.

Industry Relationship builder/networking.

Advanced organizational and time management skills.

Advanced Project Management/research skills.

Deadline-driven, thrives at a fast pace.

Problem-solving and decision-making.

Experience and preference for working remotely.
